Due to the recent events regarding COVID-19, we are suspending all approved applications and meet and greets until further notice, to ensure the health and safety of our Board of Directors, foster families and potential adopters.

We understand that this may come as a disappointment, but safety is our top priority during this uncertain time.

We look forward to resuming our mission of saving Milwaukee’s dogs in need and are excited to start scheduling meet and greets again in the future, once the situation allows!

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to help save Milwaukee's dogs. Off the Chain MKE supports dogs in need through foster, adoption, and outreach efforts. OTC is committed to improving the lives of dogs in need by providing foster homes, medical care, community education, and by ultimately matching them with their forever friends through adoption initiatives.

As a small, volunteer-run nonprofit, we are extremely grateful for every donation! Every dollar helps us vaccinate, spay and neuter, feed, and care for the dogs we bring into our care. We rely on the generosity of our community to continue to be able to save these dogs in need, and we couldn't do it without your support! Please consider giving a tax-deductible donation to the rescue. Our rescue pups appreciate it, and so do we!

Dog of the Week: Dylan

Dylan is a four-year-old bully mix looking for a cat- and child-free home. He enjoys snuggles and playing with his foster dog sibling and would love a home of his own!
