Fostering Saves Lives
We are a foster-based rescue, which means all (or most) of the dogs we pull from animal control are placed into foster homes, where they're able to decompress from the stress of shelter life and blossom into happy, healthy dogs who are ready for adoption.
Foster families help these shelter dogs recuperate and learn manners. They also help the rescue evaluate behavior, which is crucial to identifying the best fit for each dog based on their personalities.
Animal control is always full of deserving dogs who need homes, but we can only save them with the help of fosters! Please consider opening your home to a foster dog. The time commitment is typically a few months long, and the rescue provides everything (food, vet visits, training resources and support, etc) you need.
Fostering saves lives! Please help us save the lives of more of Milwaukee's dogs! If you're interested in fostering for us, please fill out the form below and someone from the rescue will get in contact with you!
